Design with purpose.
With highly skilled teachers by your side, you’ll learn how to create stunning posters, dynamic layouts, and real-world digital work. We introduce you to the world of coding in a simple, hands-on way that supports your creativity rather than limits it. This is where talent becomes skill — and skill becomes a career.

Web Technologies
At John Abbott College, we work with coding (HTML & CSS). Students are passionate about the web aspect and want to explore the web world more.
We also cover the photography aspect in addition of the animation aspect.
In some cases, some students go into animation or photography. Graphic Design opportunities are vast. You can specialized in a variety of disciplines.

What
Computer
Will You need?
The most important consideration for a computer used in the Graphic & Web Design industry is its ability to run the Adobe Creative Cloud suite of applications fast and well. Since the applications are available for Mac and PC, the choice of platform is really one of personal preference.
Most students prefer a laptop for it’s portability. It is easier to use one machine all the time, instead of switching in between school and home computers.
The department’s recommendation is a Macbook Pro.
